Bright Plains - Points of Interest

  • Transit Center North/South: Major hubs for transportation in and out of Bright Plains. Notably the centers for the country 'Metro Valley Line', shuttles to Fukatsu University and the Metro Valley North Trainlines that cross through the upstate and down south to Manhattan.
  • Bright Plains Bay North/South: Public beaches and parks, home to many festivals, events, etc.
  • Edward's Island / Fukatsu University: Originally the private island of one of the first big name players to come through the shanty town, it is now the home of Fukatsu University. Founded in the late 60's by Masakage Fukatsu The 1st, it is one of the top Vigor Liberal Art schools in Upstate New York. This is where A LOT of the story will take place as plenty of the cast live on campus in the dorms.
  • Edward's Bridge Square: A shopping district that was mostly setup for the students living on campus, so that way they don't have to trek deeper into the city for groceries and what have you. Although there is an apartment complex on property, but it's for the uh, Really Well To Do Students.
  • Severn Arms Apartments: Once an arms factory during the height of WW2, it is now is a trendy apartment building built around the original factory floor plans. It's also home to our protags Tiago and Kidd as they'll be staying with Kidd's cousin 'Jolly' Rodger Jr. and friends for their time at Fukatsu.
  • The Bright Plains Galleria: The biggest shopping center in all of Stonehale Country, somehow STILL trudging onward through the 2020's. With it's gaudy and out of style neon lights, litany of random shops and a monthly Brawler tournament, it's still able to draw in crowds from all over.
  • Donald Vrij Memorial Park: Honestly...there's nothing really special about this park. I just wanted to stick in a random Don Frye/Dick Vrij reference, lol.
  • The Amusement Mile Pier Park: A huge entertainment complex. Arcades? Check. Bowling Alley? Check. Movie theater? Venues for bands, stage productions and fights? Check. Shifty Amusement Park Rides That PROBABLY Shouldn't Be On Piers? Oh you know that's a check. The Fukatsu student discount makes it quite the Hot Spot on weekends and for those who aren't privy to the campus social life.
  • The Bright Plains Bright Dome: Big home to big sporting events. MMA, Pro Wrestling, Basketball, Baseball, Fuckin' Arena Football. It's all be played under the dome!
  • The Transit Centers/Old Bright Plains Train Station. Big ass hubs for buses and Fukatsu shuttles, along with the only major railroad in and out of town. Why not go for a ride to Manhattan and enjoy a scenic view of the Arcadia Valley River?

Other Notable Locations (That I Forgot To Dot) Include:

  • Brawler HQ: Home of everyone's favorite fight finding app! Located across the street from the Galleria, it's hard not to notice a building with a giant hand grasping a smartphone coming out of it.
  • Madame Red's Theatre: A slight callback to a friend's old OC (here's looking at you, Robin), it is a historic landmark that was once a beloved Playhouse in the 1920's. It's been said that in her death, Madame Red transferred what was left of her soul through her Vigor into the theater and that her soul now haunts it.
  • The Kanyon Museum of Modern Arts: Eh, gotta have at least one art museum. Right?
